ROMEO <3 JULIET

Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting, all there's left to do is run
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story baby just say yes ~ … 

             
                   William Shakespeare made the “Romeo and Juliet”. And there a lot of movies about the love story of two. We watched one, the 1968 version. It was such a beautiful film. The characters especially Romeo and Juliet were both beautiful and handsome. At day 1 of watching we were asked to answer this. The questions are based on the movie of course. Some questions, I find it hard to answer. So I wasn't able to finish that day. The study guide questions are consist of two, Act I and Act II. The type of language they speak was an Old English. I don’t understand some of it, that’s one factor why I can’t answer it easily. Maybe the rest was I don’t know the answer really. XD

Meet THE WIFE OF BATH and THE PARDONER

                  

                   Geoffrey Chaucer was the writer of “Canterbury Tales”. There are 24 completed stories and 30 pilgrims which are The Wife of bath and The Pardoner included. As we read the selection, I better known about the 2 pilgrims. Wife of bath had a gap in her front teeth like mine too -___-. Our teacher said we were gonna make our own General prologue. But before that we answered first the character builder. I listed down my physical appearance, background, personality and other details. It’s easy because you don’t have to think really hard cause its all about yourself only. It just like an auto-biography too. 

Artifact #1

“Si-Ow-Es-Pi-El-Ey-Way”

                

                       I remember before we have a Cosplay too  when I was in 2nd year. But it was not exciting for me. Because I need  to rent a gown just for that event, and it was too costly. I thought our Cosplay this 3^rd year will be like that. But it comes up a GREAT AND MEMORABLE experience. 

                       I belonged to the group which members were all girls. At  first we couldn’t decide what book we are going to portray. And we ended up in “Game of thrones”. I chose Daenerys Targaryen because I like her attitude. She so beautiful too, like the others. And some of her costumes are easy to imitate. On the day of our cosplay, we were all nervous because we were the group who first to perform. I must be in-charactered and posed like I was really Daenerys. I think I did it well because people clapped their hands when it was my turn .. We didn’t finish our skit due to our time ended. I feel regret because my favorite part was the ending. After our Cosplay we went to KFC to celebrate there. This was an experience I will never forget! =D

Goal Setting

Long term goals~

                              Like every students wish, I want TO FINISH MY STUDIES also. So that TO HAVE A BETTER FUTURE and TO ACHIEVE ALL OF MY DREAMS. One of my dreams is TO BE A FLIGHT ATTENDANT. Because I want TO TRAVEL TO OTHER COUNTRIES. And I will go to the places I have never visited before. If I have enough money I WILL BUY HOUSE AND LOT for my family first TO HELP MY PARENTS then I WILL BUY ALL MY NEEDS AND WANTS like new gadgets, clothes, dresses, shoes, bags, accessories and etc. I want TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN MY CAREER. And Lastly, TO HAVE A SIMPLE AND CONTENTED LIFE. These are some goals in my life, and I’m hoping to achieve all of these in right time.


Short term goals~

                         This coming Periodical Test, I want TO GET A HIGH AND PASSING SCORE especially in English Subject. To attain that I WILL STUDY HARDER and review all my lessons. I hope TO GET A PASSING GRADE too in all of my Subjects. I will manage and budget my time properly because “Time is diamond”, I mean Gold (HAHAHA XD). Of course TO FINISH MY WORKS EARLIER.  I want TO INCREASE MY VOCABULARY so that I can speak English much better. And as much as I can I will BE NOT LAZY ANYMORE. I pray to God that he will give me strength and power to do these all.

              This 3rd grading our lessons are very interesting. First, who will be the one to forget our Cosplay? It is one of my memorable and great experiences =). We watched the “Romeo and Juliet” movie, My favorite part there was the ending. We discussed too about the Canterbury tales. The song which Ma’am Rivera have listened to us really gave me a “Last Song Syndrome (LSS)”.

                     

                       I cannot say that I did very well this grading period. Because there are times that I become a tardy student. But I know in myself that I tried my best as I can just to finish and comply my requirements or should I say my activities. Even in my tests or quizzes I tried to get a passing score, and only few of it obtains low scores. Only my grade will be the proof if I improve or not in my class. And I hope to get a better/higher grade than before. I think I should participate more in our class and recite often. If I will be given myself a grade. It will be an average one, because I know I deserve it :)
